Student grants in India, Nepal & Tibet: Providing opportunities for education
KRF Development regularly funds the education of children, as well as adults in various Asian countries, particularly in the Himalayan regions.
Despite Songtsen's discreet approach to its humanitarian efforts, as the word about the organization's work has spread, in many cases, Songtsen's directors and organizers are approached directly by those in need, requesting assistance to obtain education and training or other resources. In other cases, disadvantaged people are brought to our attention by KRF's network of friends and volunteers. In any case, regardless of ethnic background or religious belief, it is KRF's aspiration to help as many people as possible to gain the education and training needed to become self-sufficient. In particular, KRF aims to help educate young Tibetans, as a means of preserving their endangered culture.
