About Songtsen
SONGTSEN is a non-profit organization focused on the rescue, preservation and accessibility of the cultural and spiritual tradition of the Tibetans. It represents 35 years of aid projects and cultural activities initiated by a group of Tibetans and Westerners.
Our departments
SONGTSEN is divided into four departments or types of activities:
- The preservation, translation, publication and distribution of Tibetan texts, both ancient and modern.
- The theoretical research and practical integration of inner knowledge from a Buddhist perspective according to the Tibetan Nyingmapa tradition.
- Support for Tibetan children. Siddhartha gives support to several monasteries and schools in Tibet, India, Bhutan and Nepal.
- Cultural and economic development for mainly Tibetan communities.
Current projects
Throughout the year, Songtsen works continuously in various countries providing humanitarian aid and in particular helping to rescue and preserve the cultural and spiritual heritage of Tibet.
