Songtsen’s ability to serve the community and to fulfill its main objectives greatly depends upon the generosity of individual sponsors and benefactors. Within our development projects, Songtsen’s aim is to help the Tibetan people secure the resources they need in order to achieve self-reliance. The assistance of the international community is essential to support our efforts. Each contribution, no matter how seemingly small, is valuable in supporting the continuation and progress of Songtsen’s primary activities, as well as providing for the urgent needs of Songtsen's department. As the fulfilment of Songtsen’s objectives depends solely upon the generosity and support of its members and sponsors, any contributions of time, skills, items, services or financial assistance are very much appreciated and greatly welcome.

Individuals and organizations who feel concerned by the need to preserve Tibet’s extraordinary contribution to the world’s spiritual heritage are invited to make a donation to one or more aspects of Songtsen’s activity. All of Songtsen’s projects benefit from a high degree of security in the transfer and use of funds, made possible by a network of close relationships and counterchecks already established for many years. To achieve the greatest possible benefit from sponsorships, administrative costs are conscientiously kept to a minimum, thanks to a group of motivated and competent volunteers. More than 90% of Songtsen's activities are operated mainly by volunteers, both Tibetans and non-Tibetans. Furthermore, for more than thirty years, Songtsen has ensured the highest financial integrity.

Donations can also be designated to any of the following activities within Songtsen, as well as to specific projects within each department:

Any contributions made without a specified designation will be forwarded to Songtsen's priority projects with the most urgent needs. (For designated donations, see designated donation ideas).

For more information on the current needs of the particular departments please see Songtsen projects or view the 'how you can help' section in each Songtsen department. To make a donation online, please see the section regarding online donations or learn more about other donation methods. You can also find out about more ways you can help to support Songtsen’s activities or how to get involved.

Every contribution – no matter what form or size – has a ripple effect enabling Songtsen to carry out its projects and activities. One drop of rain may seem insignificant, but as it is said, "A jug fills drop by drop." Your contribution does make a difference. We are very grateful for your support.

Thank you for your interest in supporting Songtsen!
